Atlanta Kyusho and Jujitsu was started on the basis of working multiple methods and principles of martial arts – including Okinawan Kempo, Combative Jujitsu, and Filipino Martial Arts– to learn realistic, practical, and combative self-defense.  Learn versatile skills that range from simple pain-compliance-and-control techniques to protection in life-threatening situations. AKJ also teaches the traditions and history of the arts as it relates to integrity of the art and the self-cultivation of its practitioners. AKJ takes an Integrated Approach to martial arts.  That is, we do not focus on sport rules nor only one discipline of martial arts.  AKJ’s philosophy is that if someone is training to be efficient in martial arts, they should combine methods; this allow a person to become versatile and able to adapt in multiple situations.  For that reason, the different martial arts are not separated, but instead integrated into your entire training.  Click an image below to read more about the multiple styles taught at AKJ:
